ARTIST BIO

Lyn began drawing at a early age, receiving recognition for her abilty and the quality of her works, and upon leaving school Lyn gained employment in the clothes design industry with "Harvey Graham" (Bridal /Exclusive Dress Design).

 
After gaining Degrees in Fine Art and Teaching in early 80's taught at a number of High School in the Brisbane, Logan and Gold Coast Regions, while also continuing to study and practice her art.
 
In the early 1990 Lyn began Private Teaching for both Children and Adult Students at her Gallery and various other venues within the area, with a number of her students receiving awards and prize for their work.
Lyn has received many Awards and Commendations for her work and been requested to undertake a number of commissioned paintings and drawings.
 
Lyn holds Workshops in many mediums and styles at her Gallery and is available to teach Workshops by request at other venues.
Lyn Green is an artist and teacher, who completed a Diploma of Arts in 1980 and later worked for the Qld Education Dept as a teacher for many years after completing a Grad. Diploma in Teaching.

Since 2000 Lyn has dedicated herself to a full time career as an artist. Lyn teaches from her gallery in Tamborine and through Workshops held at various times and places through out the year.
Throughout her career her artworks have received many awards and prizes. Lyn works both freelance and on commission paintings.
